Hey Party People! So, I have been talking with my sister about teaching at home with her six-year-old daughter. My sister has expressed to me that she struggles with keeping a schedule. I told her that it would be beneficial if she used the schedule cards daily. The schedule cards are helpful for the little people because it helps keep them accountable as well. The schedule cards are yours to decide what to do for the day. There are even small clocks that you can use and work on time at the same time. I would suggest printing them and laminating them... I know most people don't have a laminator, but you can always get one off Amazon! You are going to be a teacher for some time, so you might as well invest for now. Trust me, you will appreciate it in the long run. For the schedule cards, you can either keep the same things daily or change some of the things around to tailor to your little people. Here is an example: There are a LOT more than these few that I posted. You can customize your schedule with or without the little person. It is important to go over the schedule each day so that the little people know the expectations for that day. The schedule cards also help the adult stay on task to know what you are doing with your little person for the day. The younger the little person, I would also suggest having breaks in between tasks. A great idea would be doing a GoNoodle www.gonoodle.com/ I hope this is helpful! Feel free to reach out ! Amber
